This document combines the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Terms & Conditions, and Refund Policy for Kono Prints. By purchasing from, requesting a quote, or using the services of Kono Prints, you agree to the policies below.

1. ABOUT KONO PRINTS

Kono Prints is an Australian 3D-printing business offering:

  • Made-to-order 3D printed models sourced from STLFLIX under a valid commercial license

  • Ready-made 3D prints

  • Custom 3D printing on request

Supported materials for custom printing:

PLA, TPU, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, PA6-CF, PET-CF

Maximum build volume: 250 mm

2. PRIVACY POLICY

2.1 Information We Collect

We only collect information needed to provide our services, including:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Shipping address

  • Order details

  • Custom print specifications

  • Payment details (handled by third-party processors)

We do not collect unnecessary or sensitive data.

3. TERMS OF SERVICE

3.1 Made-to-Order Models

Kono Prints sells made-to-order 3D printed items.

These are printed after purchase using:

  • Our own designs

  • Commercially licensed STLFLIX models

  • Other licensed designs where permitted

Customers are purchasing physical printed items only — not digital files or design rights.

3.2 Custom 3D Printing

We offer custom 3D printing in the materials listed earlier.

When submitting a custom job, you agree that:

  • You own the rights to the model OR have permission to use it

  • We may refuse prints that violate copyright or safety rules

  • Pricing depends on material, complexity, and print time

3.3 Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use our website/services for illegal activity

  • Attempt to damage or interfere with our systems

  • Reproduce our products for resale

  • Misuse commercial-license designs from STLFLIX

3.4 Intellectual Property

  • Product photos, descriptions, and branding belong to Kono Prints

  • STLFLIX files are used under a valid commercial license for Kono Prints only

  • Purchasing a printed item does not provide:

    • Digital files

    • Design ownership

    • Reproduction rights

3.5 Product Variations

Due to 3D printing processes:

  • Layer lines may be visible

  • Colours may differ slightly

  • Minor imperfections are normal

These are not considered defects.

4. TERMS & CONDITIONS

4.1 Pricing

  • All prices may change without notice

  • Custom print quotes are valid for 7 days

4.2 Order Acceptance

Orders may be cancelled due to:

  • Invalid model files

  • Safety issues

  • Payment problems

  • Material shortages

  • Copyright concerns

If cancelled before printing starts, you will be fully refunded.

4.3 Shipping

  • Shipping times are estimates

  • Kono Prints is not responsible for courier delays

  • Risk transfers to the customer once handed to the courier unless insurance was selected

4.4 Custom Print Limitations

Certain models may require changes, such as:

  • Supports

  • Orientation adjustments

  • Scaling

  • Splitting into smaller parts

We will notify you if required.

4.5 No Reinforced-Part Warranty

CF materials (PA6-CF, PET-CF) and high-temp materials have specific risks, including:

  • Sharp edges

  • Brittleness in thin areas

  • Warping under heat

Use at your own discretion.

5. REFUND & RETURN POLICY

5.1 Made-to-Order Items

Refunds are only available if:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The incorrect item was shipped

  • A manufacturing error occurred

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

5.2 Custom Prints

Custom prints are non-refundable, except for:

  • Incorrect material

  • Incorrect dimensions (our error)

  • Damage during delivery

  • Severe print defects caused by us

Because these items are made specifically for you, we cannot accept returns for preference-based reasons.

5.3 Reporting an Issue

You must report problems within 7 days of receiving the item.

Provide:

  • Order number

  • Photos/videos

  • Explanation of the issue

We will offer repair, replacement, or partial refund depending on the case.

6. POLICY CHANGES

Kono Prints may update this policy at any time.

A new “Effective Date” will be posted.

Continued use of our services means you agree to any updates.
